Detailed explanation of curved wood technology
In the production of curved wood furniture, cutting and splicing can be used to obtain curved furniture components from large pieces of wood. However, this method not only has limitations on the selection of tree species, but also leads to a large waste of raw materials and high requirements for processing technology. Therefore, when making curved wood furniture, the bending wood molding process is the first choice.
Traditional bending wood molding process
There are four main traditional bending wood molding processes, namely, solid wood bending, multi-layer adhesive bending, particle (fiber) molding bending, and medium density fiberboard bending.
Formless bending wood process
As the name implies, it refers to the use of modern CNC equipment for processing, without the need for mold bending wood technology. During processing, there is no need for a mold, and there is no mortise and tenon for integrated molding. Therefore, the modeling is not limited by the mold, and designers have great space to play in the design of styles. Mass production can be carried out while breaking away from mold restrictions.
